COMEDY - Cuelebre - Animatic and Storyboards

The animatic, storyboards, character and prop designs are based on a project from my time at Cal State Long Beach. A concept based on an obscure fairytale set in Spain where a lady is cursed into a dragon for her vanity. The young blacksmith named Josue is aspiring to be a knight and his idol knight, Rodrigo, is actually an arrogant and selfish brute. Once Josue meets the Cuelebre dragon, he finds there is more to her than what he thought, she finds there is more to life than hiding in her cave from the world, and both will be in danger once Rodrigo learns of them.
